This homemade sandwich bread recipe is easy, delicious, and healthier than store-bought. Customize it with your favorite ingredients for a loaf everyone will love!

Ingredients

Servings: 20
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 3/4 tbsp yeast
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 1/8 cup oil can be any oil you prefer. Vegetable oil or olive oil are best
  • 3 cups flour you can use all purpose or bread flour

Instructions

  • Add the water, the sugar and the yeast in a mixing bowl. Stir and let sit for about 5 minutes.
  • Add all the rest of the ingredients into the bowl and knead it for at least 5-7 minutes. You will see that the dough is very smooth. Cover with a dish towel and let sit in a warm place until the dough has doubled in size.
  • Take it out of the bowl and form it into a log. Spray the bread pan with butter spray and set the log into it. Cover with dish towel again and let sit for another 30 minutes so it can grow.
    Pre-Heat oven to 350°F.
  • Once the loaf is nice and big, bake in oven for 30 minutes or until golden brown on top.
  • Take it out and let rest in the pan for about 10 minutes. Then take it out of pan and let cool down on cooling rack.
  • If you can't wait, eat it while still warm with butter and jam! Enjoy!
